Sonic Labs provide a wide range of bio-compatible earmould options for users that are allergic to standard materials. Options include Gold Plating, Thermotec & Titanium earmoulds.

Gold Plated Emails

Gold plating a hard acrylic earmould provides the most non-allergic option for those with very sensitive skin. This is the most suitable choice when other material options have been exhausted.

A thin layer of gold is applied over the hard acrylic earmould, this layer acts as a barrier between the hard acrylic and user’s skin, making use of the non-allergic properties of gold.

Thermotec Earmoulds

Thermotec is a Polyurethane based material that does not contain PMMA. This offers the user a highly non-allergic, durable and long lasting material in a soft mould.

Thermotec earmoulds can be produced in either a matted or a gloss finish.

Titanium Earmoulds

Titanium is the ultimate non-allergic material with very high biocompatibility. The result is a lightweight earmould which is hard, yet very lightweight. A medical grade alloy is used, which is identical to titanium used in body and dental implants.

Titanium earmoulds can be either carved earmoulds, or full earmoulds.
