Sonic featured on BBC South today
BBC South today featured the collaboration effort between the NHS Royal Free hospital and Sonic Labs, on March 6th 2019. We are proud of the progress this collaboration has achieved. The feature desribes the process of capturing a 3D scan of a patients ear, sending it electronically to Sonic labs, where the file is adapted and printed on a 3D printer. Sonic is now providing 3D printed earmoulds
Sonic Labs now manufactures Earmoulds using 3D printing technology, which cuts the production time, enhances the the quality of our products and expands our product range even further. We now have the capability to recive 3D files or scan your impressions to create a 3D model. From there we can custom design the earmould product of your choosing. Using our in house 3D printer we can manufacture your earmoulds and hand finish, resulting in a carefully crafted and precise earmould.

We have moved !
Due to the growth in demand for our products, Sonic Labs outgrew its previous offices and laboratory space. We have now more than doubled our capacity. We are now based in the centre of Newbury, in the Kingfisher Court. Our new address is now 36A Kingfisher Court, Hambridge Road, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 5SJ. We also have new contact phone numbers 01635 261426 & 01635 46462.

Business Update - Sonic Labs enjoys 15% Growth in 2013 !
2013 has been another fantastic year for Sonic Labs, we have gone from strength to strength. We have expanded our work force by hiring a number of earmould technicians and administrative staff to cope with the additional demand. We sponsored and exhibited at the BAA 2013 Audiology conference in November strengthening our links with the British audiology community. Additional NHS customers have come on board to enjoy the premium products only Sonic can provide, amounting to a total growth of 15% in 2013 alone and we could not be happier. We have a grand plan than involves a lot more growth for 2014 and we are excited to put these plans into place.
We would like to thank all our customers, colleagues and suppliers and we wish you a happy and prosperous new year!

Sonic Labs attended and exhibited at the BAA 2012 conference at the Manchester Central on the 12 and 13th of November 2012. We received an overwhelming amount of interest in our products and services from the conference delegates. Research and Development of High Bio-compatibility Products
Sonic has been working closely with the Royal National Ear Nose and Throat hospital to develop new products not readily available in the UK market. These products are of interest to severe allergy sufferers where their allergies prevent them from wearing earmoulds made from the most commonly available materials. These new materials and processes are potentially the highest biocompatibility options available in the earmould industry.
Working with new materials brings a great deal of technical challenging in terms of manufacturability, quality and cost. Close links developed with public health sector users such as senior audiologists in the Royal National ENT has allowed Sonic to develop multiple iterations of earmoulds with new unexplored materials and obtain direct feedback from the patient and audiologist. The feedback obtained was used to improve the manufacturing process and fine tune the specification of the earmould.
As a result of this work Sonic Labs will be offering Titanium coated and Thermotec earmoulds.

Contract renewed with the NHS Supply Chain 2012- 2014
We are pleased to announce that Sonic Labs has been selected for participation in the framework agreement to supply the Ear Inserts and Associated Products to the NHS. We received high scores thoughout the tendering process and have had great feedback from the NHS Business Services Authority.
